Find studs, metal and live wires

Locate wood or metal studs behind walls with three scan-depth settings: up to 13mm, 25mm or 38mm. Metal mode detects magnetic metal up to 80mm deep and non-magnetic metal up to 60mm deep.

AC mode detects unshielded live wires up to 51mm deep. Use the scanner to help find hidden materials before fitting televisions, cabinets or garage racks.

Clear readings and practical features

The wall scanner features a metal depth indicator, green backlight and low-voltage indicator. It switches off automatically after three minutes.

Suitable for use on flat surfaces including wallpaper, wood flooring, acoustic ceilings and spray-painted walls. It is powered by a 9V 6F22 battery, which is not included.
